Golden must have known hunger, because he is very enthusiastic about meals. He must have suffered terrible thirst as well, because he gets just as excited about water bowls. and, Golden also loves to sip from the faucet! Poor Golden had a slight limp when he first came in, and he was licking his leg quite a bit -- it must have hurt him, poor guy! -- but it seems all better now!
Friskie was left behind by a cat collector who sold the house and simply put all the cats and kittens outside in the winter cold. Friskie and his friends were further traumatized by a cruel neighbor with a slingshot, and many of the cats disappeared under suspicious circumstances!
I'm Golden and I was rescued from the streets of Queens in New York City, where I bravely wandered forth. Although I was living on the street and horribly dirty, I was clearly NOT at feral (wild) --- I would come running up to anyone for cuddles until, at long last, my Rescue Mommy scooped me up and took me to my first foster home!
