Roxy and her sibling were born on the beach in Long Beach, New York to a feral mom who was likely someone's cast off kitten or issue there of. Somehow Roxy's mom survived and gave birth to Roxy, Tyler, Buffy, and Brittney.
Friskie was left behind by a cat collector who sold the house and simply put all the cats and kittens outside in the winter cold. Friskie and his friends were further traumatized by a cruel neighbor with a slingshot, and many of the cats disappeared under suspicious circumstances!
Sad to say, we were never able to trap Roxy's mom, and the vacant lot which was her refuge has been excavated for new construction. Her mom may not have survived finding a new habitat. We hope Roxy's story will have a happier ending!
