n affectionate and outgoing boy who does enjoy being held in your arms for cuddles and purrs! Meowrl !
Rudy was abandoned on the streets on New York City in the summer. His former human may have simply left him curbside and left on vacation. We do not think this is any fault of Rudy’s because Rudy has lovely house manners!
Friskie was left behind by a cat collector who sold the house and simply put all the cats and kittens outside in the winter cold. Friskie and his friends were further traumatized by a cruel neighbor with a slingshot, and many of the cats disappeared under suspicious circumstances!
Luckily for Rudy, a local hairdresser spotted him huddling in a doorway, and the salon owner called a nearby pet shop. The kind owner went out and picked Rudy up, and even fostered him in her store! That was lucky indeed, as by the time Rudy was spotted, he had gone without food and water for so long, he was just hours from death !
Rudy loves to sip from the faucet and is happy to hop up sink side even just to get to a water bowl, although running water is his favorite drink!
Rudy is normally very quiet, but he will use his voice to cry when frightened or in need.
Rudy is a very handsome brown tabby tuxedo, although his photos look more gray and he loves to play with fishing -pole-style kitty lures!
Rudy gets along well with other cats but not dogs.
Rudy must have been mistreated, and he would fend off human hands in self-defense when he first arrived. Luckily, he is past that and now reaches for you to pet him!
Rudy was dangerously dehydrated and horribly skinny when he was found on the street, but he is beautiful now!
